On 15 August 1947, India got independence from the 200 years of British rule. This day reminds us of the sacrifice, penance and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters.
Independence Day 2021: This year on 15th August, India is going to celebrate its 75th Independence Day. This day is a symbol of the pride and sacrifice of the Bravehearts of the country who had sacrificed everything to liberate the country from the oppression of the British.
The theme of India’s 75th Independence Day celebrations this year is ‘Nation First, Always First’. As per tradition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation on Sunday from the Red Fort on Independence Day. A special invitation has been sent to all the medal winners of this time’s Tokyo Olympics for this event. There will be no cultural programs due to the corona pandemic.
India got independence from the British on midnight of 15 August 1947. On 15 August 1947, the first Prime Minister of the country, Jawaharlal Nehru, hoisted the tricolour at the Red Fort for the first time. Since then, every year on Independence Day, the Prime Minister of India hoists the national tricolour flag at the Red Fort in Delhi.
Independence Day is not just a special day but, it shows our respect to the innumerable freedom fighters of the country who sacrificed their everything to liberate the country. This auspicious occasion inspires the young generation to serve the nation.

(इस साल भारत के 75वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह की थीम ‘नेशन फर्स्ट, ऑलवेज फर्स्ट’ है| परंपरा के अनुसार स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर लाल किले से रविवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी राष्ट्र को संबोधित करेंगे| इस बार के टोक्यो ओलंपिक के पदक विजेता सभी एथलीटों को इस आयोजन के लिए स्पेशल इंविटेशन भेजा गया है| कोरोना महामारी के चलते किसी तरह के सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम नहीं होंगे|)
(15 अगस्त 1947 की मध्य रात्री में भारत को अंग्रेजों से आजादी मिली थी| 15 अगस्त 1947 को देश के पहले प्रधानमंत्री जवाहर लाल नेहरू ने पहली बार लाल किले पर तिरंगा फहराया था| इसके बाद से स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर हर साल भारत के प्रधानमंत्री दिल्ली के लाल किले पर राष्ट्रीय तिरंगा झंडा फहराते हैं|)
(स्वतंत्रता दिवस केवल एक दिन विशेष नहीं बल्कि, देश के उन असंख्य स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के प्रति हमारे सम्मान को प्रदर्शित करता है जिन्होंने देश को आजाद कराने के लिए अपना सर्वस्व त्याग कर दिया था| ये पावन अवसर युवा पीढ़ी को राष्ट्र की सेवा के लिए प्रेरित करता है|)
