The Government of India has clarified that Afghan citizens wishing to travel to India can apply for an e-visa on the Indian website. Only Afghan nationals with e-visa will be allowed to enter India.
India Made e-Visa Mandatory for Afghan Citizens: In view of the prevailing security situation in Afghanistan, the Government of India has decided that all Afghan citizens will be able to travel to India only on e-Visa. Visas were earlier issued to all Afghan citizens. All those visas have been invalidated with immediate effect.
The Government of India has clarified that Afghan citizens wishing to travel to India can apply for an e-visa on the Indian website. Only Afghan nationals with e-visa will be allowed to enter India. Afghanistan has been in turmoil since the capture of the Taliban. In this difficult time, almost every day Afghan citizens are being airlifted from Afghanistan to India.
India has introduced a new category of e-Visa. The visa issued through it is valid for six months. For this, a large number of Afghan citizens have also got themselves registered. The Union Government said that the introduction of e-emergency ex-variety visas has streamlined the application process, thus it has been decided to make e-visa mandatory for all Afghan nationals visiting India.
After the Taliban occupation in Afghanistan, an e-visa will have to be made to come to India, for which Afghan citizens can apply by visiting the site www.indianvisaonline.gov.in. Any Afghan citizen wishing to come to India for an e-Visa can apply.
(भारत सरकार ने अफगानिस्तान में मौजूदा सुरक्षा स्थिति को देखते हुए फैसला लिया है कि सभी अफगानिस्तान नागरिक केवल ई वीजा पर भारत की यात्रा कर सकेंगे| सभी अफगानी नागरिकों को पहले वीजा जारी किए थे| उन सभी वीजो को तत्काल प्रभाव से अमान्य कर दिए हैं|)

(भारत ने ई-वीजा की एक नई श्रेणी लागू की है| इसके जरिए जारी हुआ वीजा छह महीनों तक वैध होता है| इसके लिए बड़ी संख्या में अफगान नागरिकों ने अपना रजिस्ट्रेशन भी करवाया है| केंद्र सरकार ने कहा कि ई-आपातकालीन एक्स-विविध वीजा की शुरूआत ने आवेदन प्रक्रिया को सुव्यवस्थित किया है, इस प्रकार भारत आने वाले सभी अफगान नागरिकों के लिए ई-वीजा अनिवार्य करने का निर्णय लिया गया है|)
