India’s inoculation drive against Covid-19 will be bolstered as the single-dose Sputnik Light will be rolled out in September.

An agreement has been signed between Panacea and Russian Direct Investment Fund. In addition, in July, Panacea Biotech has also got the license of Sputnik Light. This vaccine was made at the plant located in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, which has been successful in the quality check. Along with this, the Central Drug Laboratory has also approved it. If it gets emergency use permission from the drug regulator, then Panacea Biotec can produce 100 million vaccines every year.
Sputnik Light has also been made by Magalya Institute. The Russian Direct Investment Fund assisted the Magalya Institute in its creation. In May, emergency approval was given to plant it in Russia. According to experts, the vaccine is effective up to 80 percent.

(पनेसिया व रशियन डायरेक्ट इनवेस्टमेंट फंड के बीच करार हो चुका है| साथ ही जुलाई में पनेसिया बायोटेक को स्पूतनिक लाइट का लाइसेंस भी मिल चुका है| हिमाचल प्रदेश के बद्दी स्थित प्लांट में यह वैक्सनी बनाई गई थी, जो क्वालिटी चेक में सफल हुई है| इसके साथ ही सेंट्रल ड्रग लैबोरेटरी ने भी इसे मंजूरी दे दी है| अगर इसे ड्रग रेगुलेटर से आपातकालीन इस्तेमाल की अनुमति मिल जाती हैं तो पनेसिया बायोटक हर साल 10 करोड़ वैक्सीन का उत्पादन कर सकती है|)
(स्पूतनिक लाइट को भी मागलेया इंस्टीट्यूट ने बनाया है| रशियन डायरेक्ट इनवेस्टमेंट फंड ने इसे बनाने में मागलेया इंस्टीट्यूट की मदद की है| मई में रूस में इसे लगाने की आपातकालीन मंजूरी दी गई थी|)
