India’s Avani Lekhara has created history by winning the gold medal in the women’s 10m air event SH-1 at the Tokyo Paralympics. This is India’s first gold medal in Tokyo Paralympics. Yogesh Kathunia of India has won the silver medal in the men’s F-56 discus throw event.
Devendra Jhajharia of India created history in the javelin throw event at the Tokyo Paralympics, winning the silver medal in the men’s javelin throw event with a throw of 64.35 meters. Apart from them, Sunder Singh Gurjur took the bronze medal with a throw of 64.0 meters.
India’s Swaroop Unhalkar has reached the final of the men’s 10m air rifle event. He is in seventh place. Now Swaroop is also expected to get a medal.
