According to news agency ANI, Defense Ministry officials said that this exhibition of modern weapons to tanks and missiles will be held from March 11-13 next year. Defense Ministry organizes Defense Expo every two years.
Recently, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has announced that Defense Expo will be organized by Gujarat in 2022. About 100 countries will participate in this biennial event. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Department of Defense Production and the Government of Gujarat in this regard.
Defense Expo-2022: Defense Expo-2022 will be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat from 10 to 13 March next year. Defense Expo 2022 aims to move the world forward under Make in India. Defense Expo-2022 will focus on making India a defense manufacturing hub.
Defense Exhibition-2022 aims to create an environment to make India self-reliant in the field of defense and achieve the target of defense exports of USD 5 billion by 2024. It aims to make India a major destination for land, naval, air, defense engineering, and security systems.
