Nobel Prize in Economics 2021: The Nobel Prize was started by the Nobel Foundation in the year 1901 in memory of Swedish scientist Alfred Nobel.
Nobel Prize in Economics 2021: Nobel Prize 2021 for Economics has been announced. The award has been awarded to David Card, Joshua D’Angrist and Guido W. Imbanes. The Nobel Committee awarded David Card for his empirical contributions to labour economics, and jointly to Joshua d’Angrist and Guido W. Embens for their methodological contributions to the analysis of causal relationships.
Unlike other Nobel Prizes, the Nobel Prize in Economics was not started in 1901. Whereas it was started by the Swedish central bank in his memory in the year 1968. In this, the first winner was chosen in the year 1969, this is the last Nobel Prize announced every year. The Nobel Prize in Economics is also officially called the Sveriges Riksbank Prize.
Economists who have been awarded the Nobel Prize include David Card of the University of California at Berkeley, Joshua D. Angrist of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Guido Imbens of Stanford University. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences stated that all three had ‘completely replaced empirical work in economic science’.
Nobel Prize in Economics 2021: अर्थशास्त्र के लिए नोबेल पुरस्कार 2021 की घोषणा हो चुकी है| यह पुरस्कार डेविड कार्ड, जोशुआ डी एंग्रिस्ट और गुइडो डब्ल्यू इम्बेन्स को नवाजा गया है| नोबेल समिति ने डेविड कार्ड को श्रम अर्थशास्त्र में उनके प्रयोगसिद्ध योगदान के लिए और संयुक्त रूप से जोशुआ डी एंग्रिस्ट और गुइडो डब्ल्यू इम्बेन्स को कारण संबंधों के विश्लेषण में उनके मेथेडोलॉजिकल योगदान के लिए दिया गया है|
अन्य नोबेल पुरस्कारों से अलग अर्थशास्त्र का नोबेल पुरस्कार की शुरुआत 1901 मे नही की गयी थी| जबकि इसकी शुरुआत स्वीडिश केंद्रीय बैंक द्वारा साल 1968 में उनकी स्मृति में की गई थी| इसमें पहले विजेता को साल 1969 मे चुना गया था, यह प्रत्येक वर्ष घोषित नोबेल का अंतिम पुरस्कार है| अर्थशास्त्र के नोबेल पुरस्कार को आधिकारिक तौर पर स्वेरिजेज रिक्सबैंक पुरस्कार भी कहा जाता है|
नोबोल पुरस्कार से सम्मानित होने वाले अर्थशास्त्रियों में बर्कले स्थित कैलिफोर्निया विश्वविद्यालय के डेविड कार्ड, मैसाचुसेट्स इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी के जोशुआ डी. एंग्रिस्ट और स्टैनफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी के गुइडो इम्बेन्स शामिल हैं| रॉयल स्वीडिश एकेडमी ऑफ साइंसेस ने कहा कि तीनों ने ‘आर्थिक विज्ञान में अनुभवजन्य कार्य को पूरी तरह से बदल दिया है|’
