The Union Cabinet has approved the affiliation of 100 schools in the government and private sectors with the Sainik School Society under the Ministry of Defense in the academic year 2022-23.
Sainik School: Recently, the Union Cabinet has taken another step to bring about a change in the existing pattern of Sainik Schools. Under which affiliation of 100 schools has been approved under Sainik School Society. With this initiative, new admissions in class 6th will start from the academic year 2022-23.
The Union Cabinet has approved 100 schools in line with the syllabus of the National Policy on Education, NEP 2020. These schools will be set up in both the private and government sectors.
Its main objective is to “focus on value-based education so as to enable children to take pride in the rich culture and heritage of this nation, develop character, discipline, a sense of national duty and effective leadership with patriotism.”

हाल ही में, केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने सैनिक स्कूलों के मौजूदा पैटर्न में बदलाव लाने के लिए एक और कदम उठाया है। जिसके तहत सैनिक स्कूल सोसायटी के तहत 100 स्कूलों के एफिलिएशन को मंजूरी दी गई है| इस पहल के साथ, कक्षा 6वीं में नए प्रवेश शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2022-23 से शुरू होंगे|

इसका मुख्य उदेश्य है कि “मूल्य आधारित शिक्षा पर ध्यान केंद्रित करना ताकि बच्चों को इस राष्ट्र की समृद्ध संस्कृति और विरासत पर गर्व करने, चरित्र, अनुशासन, राष्ट्रीय कर्तव्य की भावना और देशभक्ति के साथ प्रभावी नेतृत्व विकसित करने में सक्षम बनाया जा सके|
