A Seminar titled “India-Bangladesh: Fifty Years of Friendship” was organised by the Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS) at the India International Centre (IIC), on 24 November 2021 to commemorate 50 Years of India-Bangladesh Friendship as well as the decisive victory in the India- Pakistan War 1971. 

Recently, General MM Naravane has released a book titled ‘Bangladesh Liberation @ 50 Years: ‘Bijoy’ with Synergy. The book contains the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, which is a compilation of personal accounts of the war by veterans from India and Pakistan.

The book is an amalgamation of historical and anecdotal accounts of the 1971 war and includes authors from both India and Bangladesh. Most of those who took part in the war.

The event was organized at the India International Center (IIC), Delhi to commemorate 50 years of Indo-Bangladesh friendship as well as the decisive victory in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. – CLAWS).

An award ceremony was also organized for this event. The ‘Scholar Warrior Award’ was presented by Bir Protik, former COAS (Army Chief) of Bangladesh, to Brigadier Narendra Kumar for his outstanding contribution in the field of research as a warrior. it was done.
