The names of Padma awardees were announced by the Government of India on 26 January 2020. This time seven celebrities have received Padma Vibhushan, 16 Padma Bhushan and 118 Padma Shri.
Padma Awards 2020 List: Recently, on 08 November 2021, Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj, Adnan Sami, PV. 141 people, including Sindhu, who have done excellent work in various fields, have been honoured for the Padma Awards for the year 2020. President Ram Nath Kovind distributed the awards in this program organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

This time 33 women have received Padma awards. Out of which 18 are from Foreigner, NRI, PIO, OCI category while twelve awards have been given posthumously. Whereas, actress Kangana Ranaut, filmmaker Ekta Kapoor has got it.
Rani Rampal, the captain of the women’s hockey team and actress Kangana Ranaut, who led the team in the Tokyo Olympics, was honoured with the Padma Shri Award 2020. While Hindustani classical singer Pandit Channulal Mishra was honoured with Padma Vibhushan Award 2020.

List of Padma Bhushan 2020 winners: Olympian badminton player PV Sindhu, noted environmentalist and philanthropist from Uttarakhand Dr Anil Prakash Joshi, M. Mumtaz Ali, Muzaffar Hussain Baig, Ajay Chakraborty, Manoj Das, Balkrishna Doshi, Krishnammal Jagannathan, from Nagaland Former Chief Minister SC Jamir, Tsering Nandol, Eminent Industrialist Anand Mahindra, Neelkanth Ramakrishna Madhav Menon (Posthumous), Syed Muazem Ali (Posthumous), Former Union Minister Manohar Parrikar (Posthumous), Prof. Jagdish Seth and industrialist Venu Srinivasan etc.
List of Padma Shri 2020 winners: Adnan Sami, Karan Johar, Kangana Ranaut, Ekta Kapoor, Suresh Wadkar, industrialist Bharat Goenka, hockey player Jitu Rai and mathematician Vashistha Narayan Singh (posthumously), Jagdish Lal Ahuja, Mohammad Sharif, Javed Ahmed Tak, Tulsi Goda, Satyanarayana Mundayur, Abdul Jabbar, Usha Chaumar, Popatrao Pawar, Harekala Hajba, Arunoday Mandal, Radhamohan and Sabarmati, Kushal Konwar Sharma, Triniti Savo, Ravikannan, S Ramakrishnan etc. are included.
