Energy Conservation Week: Ministry of Power is celebrating Energy Conservation Week from 8 to 14 December 2021 under “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Bureau of Energy Efficiency organizes national level painting competition on energy conservation for school children studying in class IV to X.
Three major activities have been included in the function by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. First, National Painting Competition for school children, second, National Energy Conservation Awards for industries and establishments and third, National Energy Efficiency Innovation Award for recognition of innovative energy efficiency technologies.
Energy Conservation Week 2021 Theme:
This year, the themes of the competition are “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Energy Efficient India” and “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Clean Planet”.
The festival will have the following daily events:
- Virtual Launch of Certificate Course on Home Energy Audit Program – December 8
- Webinar on Technology Transfer for Decarbonization of Industry – 9th December
- National Workshop on Energy Efficiency in Indian Residential Sector – 10 December
- National Workshop on Role of Energy Efficient Appliances in Market Transformation – 10 December
- National Workshop Program on Energy Efficiency Schemes for MSME Sector – 11th December
- Amrit Utsav Celebrations for designated consumers under PAT Cycle II – Interaction with dignitaries – 13th December etc.
