Kashi Vishwanath Corridor: The foundation stone of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor Project was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 8 March 2019, through an ordinance, the Uttar Pradesh government declared the area on the temple as a special area.
Kashi Vishwanath Dham: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Kashi Vishwanath Dham, ready in 33 months at a cost of 700 crores today. This new form of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, built from the banks of the Ganges to the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, is coming before the world after 241 years.
According to historians, the Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple was attacked several times from the year 1194 to 1669. The temple was renovated between 1777 and 1780 by Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar of the Maratha Empire. After two and a half decades, PM Modi had laid the foundation stone of this grand court of the temple on March 8, 2019.
Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham will be inaugurated in Revati Nakshatra. Acharya Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid, who prepared the Muhurta for Ram temple, told that on 13th December, there is an auspicious time of 20 minutes in Revati Nakshatra from 1:37 am to 1:57 pm.
In the wonderful combination of Raviyoga, PM Modi will become the main host by anointing the Kashipuradhipati with the water of all the rivers of the country with the method of Rajopachar. After worshipping the extended court of Devadhidev Mahadev, the PM will interact with prominent saints from across the country at the temple square.
Prime Minister Modi’s special aircraft reached Varanasi’s Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport at 10:15 am. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the airport to receive the PM. PM will enter Kashi Vishwanath Dham at 12 o’clock. The ritual will be completed in 22 minutes. After the Mangalarati, the Vedic scholars will recite the hymns and mantras of the four Vedas.
