Bhagwant Mann is a famous comedian from Punjab. He is a Lok Sabha member of the Aam Aadmi Party from the year 2014 from Sangrur Lok Sabha constituency of Punjab. He is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party. He started his political career with Manpreet Singh Badal’s party Punjab People’s Party, but later Bhagwant switched to Aam Aadmi Party.

Bhagwant Mann was born in the year 1973 in Sangrur district, Punjab. He is a comedian, actor and politician by profession. The name of the house of Bhagwant Mann is Jugnu. He became very famous with the comedy show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He has done B.Com from SUS College, Sangrur. Whereas in 2011 he entered politics through the Anna movement. Has won the Lok Sabha elections from Sangrur twice.
Family Life of Bhagwant Mann:
Bhagwant Mann was married to Inderpreet Kaur. Both have two children. In an interview, Bhagwant Mann had told that he could not give time to his family due to politics, so his wife and he separated in the year 2015 with consent.

Political life:
Bhagwant Mann did his politics from Manpreet Singh Badal’s party Punjab Peoples Party. He contested from Lehra assembly seat in 2012 but lost. In the year 2014, Bhagwant Mann joined the Aam Aadmi Party and entered the electoral fray from the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat on an Aam Aadmi Party ticket. Here he won by more than 2 lakh votes.
In the 2017 Punjab Assembly elections, Bhagwant Mann contested against the then Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab and Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal from the Jalalabad assembly seat. where he had to face defeat. After this, contested the Lok Sabha elections from the Sangrur seat in 2019 and won by more than one lakh votes.
Bhagwant Mann was made the President of AAP’s Punjab unit in the year 2017. But in 2018, Aam Aadmi Party leaders had to apologize to Bikram Singh Majithia in the drugs allegation and defamation case. After which Bhagwat Mann had resigned from his post but later accepted the post again at the behest of Kejriwal. Now he is AAP’s CM candidate in the 2022 assembly.
