Lyricist-poet Ibrahim Ashk dies: Recently at the age of 70, famous lyricist, Ibrahim Ashk has passed away. He was infected with coronavirus for some time. Confirming his death, his daughter Mustafa told him that he breathed his last in Mumbai.
Ibrahim Ashq has a wife and three daughters. Ibrahim Ashk has given many hit songs in films. His daughter Mustafa told that he was having trouble breathing after which he was admitted to the hospital. After being admitted to the hospital, his family members came to know that he is Covid positive.

Birth of Ibrahim Ashq:
Ibrahim Ashk was born in the Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh. He had his early education in Badnagar, District Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. He did BA from Indore University in 1973 and MA in Hindi literature from Indore University in 1974.
Introduction of Ibrahim Ashq:
Ibrahim Ashq was a Hindi and Urdu poet, journalist, actor and film lyricist. He wrote great songs for many Bollywood movies. It includes many movies like ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, ‘Krrish’, ‘Welcome’, ‘Jaanshin’, ‘Black and White’, ‘Aap Mujhe Achhe Lagne Lage.
Ibrahim Ashk was also a poet. But he started his career as a journalist. He used to write poetry in Hindi and Urdu. His full name was Ibrahim Khan Gauri. He had added ‘ashk’ in front of his name.
