Republic Day Parade 2022: On 26 January 2022, the tableau of the Ministry of Civil Aviation was included in the Republic Day parade for the first time. The theme of this tableau was ‘Udaan – Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik’.
Republic Day Parade 2022: India is celebrating 73rd Republic Day on 26 January 2022. 75 aircraft did flypast on the occasion of Republic Day. Tableaux of different states of the country were taken out in the parade organized on the Rajpath on the occasion of Republic Day.
The tricolor was hoisted on the Rajpath on 26 January on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day in the presence of President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After the unfurling of the national flag, a 21-gun salute was given and the Republic Day parade began. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to the martyrs by laying a wreath at the National War Memorial.

Tableau of the Ministry of Civil Aviation:
The tableau of the Ministry of Civil Aviation was included in the Republic Day parade for the first time on 26 January 2022. The theme of this tableau was ‘Udaan – Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik’. This tableau displayed the regional connectivity scheme ‘UDAN’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tributes at the National War Memorial on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day and observed a two-minute silence for the martyrs of the Indian Armed Forces.
In the plane-shaped tableau, the front shows female pilots depicting the power of women in India’s aviation, as India tops the list of female commercial pilots globally. The backside of the tableau depicts the symbol of Buddhism and the motto of flight – Sab Uden, Sab Juden. The central part shows the Buddha Circuit, with the Buddha statue at Gaya, where he attained enlightenment, the Dhamekh Stupa, Sarnath where he gave his first sermon (Dharmachakra Parivartan), and the Mahaparinirvana Stupa, Kushinagar where he attained Mahaparinirvana.
