Asia’s Richest Person: The Bloomberg Billionaires Index has declared Adani the 10th richest person in the world and the richest person in Asia with a net worth of $8850 million (Rs 6.61 lakh crore).

Asia’s Richest Person: Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has overtaken Mukesh Ambani to become Asia’s richest person again. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Adani has become the 10th richest person in the world and the richest person in Asia with a net worth of $ 8850 million (Rs 6.61 lakh crore).

 

Mukesh Ambani is the 11th richest person in the world with a net worth of $8790 million (Rs 6.56 lakh crore). Keep in mind that even in the list of Forbes, Gautam Adani had left behind Mukesh Ambani. But Gautam Adani has been placed at number 10 for the first time in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

In the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Elon Musk at number one, Jeff Bezos at number two, Bernard Arnault at number three, Bill Gates at number four, Larry Page at number five, Sergey Brin at number six, Warren Buffett at number seven, Steve Ballmer at number eight And at number nine is Larry Ellison.

 

Some of the listed shares of the Adani Group have gained over 600 percent in the last two years. Gautam Adani has added $55 billion to his wealth on a yearly basis as compared to Mukesh Ambani’s $14.3 billion. There has been a decline in the net worth of Mukesh Ambani while the net worth of Gautam Adani has increased significantly in the last two years.

 

Mukesh Ambani has committed $10 billion over the next three years as part of a larger plan to spend $76 billion on renewable energy plans. While Adani has pledged to invest a total of $70 billion by 2030 to help make its group the world’s largest renewable energy producer.
