Book News: Anirudh Suri's new book 'The Great Tech Game'

Recently, Indian author, Anirudh Suri has written his new book “The Great Tech Game: Shaping Geopolitics and the Destinies of Nations”. This book is published by HarperCollins India. This book explains how any country should develop its strategic plan to be successful in this technology-intensive era.

According to a PTI report, the initiative aims to promote technological inclusion with the proceeds from NFT collections. The proceeds will go to groups that are disadvantaged in access or use of technology, which is a key pillar and recommendation of the book.

“While artists and athletes have started creating NFTs, none of the writers have done so. I wanted to change that, not least because my book, The Great Tech Game: Shaping Geopolitics and the Destinies of Nations (HarperCollins India), is about how technology is changing our economic and cultural paradigms. And we need to adapt,” Suri said.

In this book, the author provides a coherent framework outlining the key drivers that will determine a nation’s ability to succeed in this technology-intensive era. It gives a roadmap as to how any country should develop its strategic plan for success. Leaders must develop a new set of capabilities to understand and take advantage of these trends and create an enabling environment for their nations not to lag behind. A particularly challenging aspect will be the ability of countries to define and manage the roles of state and non-state actors in the global race for technological leadership and success.
