Exercise Cobra Warrior 22: India to participate in a multi-nation exercise to be held in March 

Exercise Cobra Warrior 22: Recently, the Government of India has announced that the Indian Air Force will participate in a multi-nation air exercise named ‘Exercise Cobra Warrior 22’ in Waddington, the United Kingdom from March 06 to 27, 2022.

The IAF Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas will participate in the exercise along with fighter aircraft from the UK and other major air forces. Five Tejas aircraft will go to the United Kingdom. IAF will provide necessary transport support for C-17 aircraft induction and de-induction.

The objective of the Cobra Warrior Exercise:

The objective of this exercise is to provide operational exposure and sharing of best practices among the participating Air Force, thereby enhancing combat capability and strengthening the bonds of friendship. This LCA will provide a platform for Tejas to showcase its mobility and operational capability.

Main Point:

• This exercise Cobra Warrior is one of the biggest annual exercises by the Royal Air Force (RAF).
• India will participate in this exercise for the first time. Other participating countries are the United Kingdom, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, and Bulgaria.
