Rajasthan Budget 2022: Presenting the fourth Budget of his tenure in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot gave gifts to every section including women, youth, elderly, employment, education, technology, infrastructure, industry in the budget.
Rajasthan Budget 2022 Highlights: CM Ashok Gehlot presented the budget for the year 2022-23 of Rajasthan on Wednesday. In this budget, CM Ashok Gehlot tried his best to reach out to all the sections. The agriculture budget was presented separately for the first time in Rajasthan this time. In this, Gehlot made big announcements for the farmers.
Giving the biggest gift to the government employees, their demand to restore the old pension scheme pending for many years has been fulfilled. This time a big announcement like giving free electricity up to 50 units in Rajasthan is also included. CM Gehlot gave his budget speech in 2 hours 57 minutes. In this, he tried to touch all the sections as well as all the areas.

CM Gehlot made these big announcements in the budget speech:-
- Free electricity will be available for up to 50 units, which will benefit 118 lakh, domestic consumers.
- Treatment under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Yojana has been increased from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.
- Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accident Insurance Scheme will be implemented. In this, accident insurance up to 5 lakh will be available free of cost.
- 2000 English medium schools will be opened. 10,000 teachers of English medium will be recruited.
- RISF will be formed on the lines of CISF. In which 2 thousand employees will be recruited.
- 2000 crore will be spent on the roads of rural areas.
- To strengthen tourism, it has been given industry status.
- Cyber police stations will be set up in all the districts of the state.
- The pension scheme will be applicable as before for government employees appointed on and after January 1, 2004.
- The Reet exam will be held in 2022. In which the number of posts will be increased from 32 thousand to 62000. Recruitment of one lakh additional posts has been announced.
- 3 important roads will be repaired in each district. While 10 crore has been announced for roads in each assembly.
- 5000 new dairy booths will be opened. In which women will get priority.
- An announcement was made to increase the amount of Mukhyamantri Krishak Saathi Yojana from 2000 crores to 5000 crores.
- 600 crores will be spent on the promotion of organic farming.
- Now instead of 100 days, 125 days of employment will be available in MNREGA.
