UP Election Live: BJP’s resolution letter released, know what promises were made?

UP Assembly Election 2022: BJP has released it’s Sankalp Patra 2 days before the voting for the elections. Home Minister Amit Shah hit back at SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and said that a few days ago, Akhilesh Yadav was waving our Sankalp Patra and asking how much did the BJP accomplish out of this? Today we are answering that. Out of the resolution letters we issued in 2017, we fulfilled 92% of our promises in five years.

What promises were made in the BJP’s manifesto?

• All farmers will get free electricity for irrigation.
• Sugarcane farmers will be paid within 14 days, interest will be given in case of delay.
• Under the Ujjwala scheme, one free cylinder will be given each on Holi and Diwali.
• Free travel will be provided to women above 60 years of age.
• Will provide at least one employee to every family.
• Every widow and destitute woman will get a pension of Rs 1500 per month.
• Six mega food parks will be set up.
• Will double MBBS seats.
• The number of ambulances will be increased.
• To stop love jihad, a provision of 10 years imprisonment and a fine of one lakh will be made.
• Maa Annapurna will make canteen and give cheap food to the poor.
• To make the meritorious college-going girl students self-reliant, free scooty will be given under Rani Laxmi Bai Yojana.
• Sardar Patel Agri-Infrastructure Mission will be started at a cost of five thousand crores.
• Mukhyamantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana will start at a cost of 25,000 crores.
• By creating a Bhamashah Bhav Stability Fund of Rs 1,000 crore, farmers will be ensured minimum price for all crops like potato, tomato, and onion.
• Renovation and modernization of sugar mills will be done under the Gatra Mill Renovation Mission with a cost of Rs.5,000 crore.
• Under the Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana, solar pumps will be given to the farmers.
• Under Mission Natural Farming, in the next five years, natural farming will be promoted in every village.
• Nishadraj Boat Subsidy Scheme will be started, under which boats up to one lakh will be provided to the fishermen at 40% subsidy.
• Up to 25% subsidy will be provided for setting up fish seed production units and 6 ultra modal fish markets will be set up.
