ICC women’s world cup 2022 winner: Australia’s team won the women’s World Cup title for the record seventh time. In the final match, the Australian women’s team defeated defending champions England by 71 runs.

Batting first, Australia made a huge target of 356. In reply, England was bowled out for 285 runs in 43.4 overs. Only Nat Sciver fought alone and remained unbeaten on 148. This time the prize money of the winning team for the tournament was doubled. In 2017, England got around Rs 5 crore after becoming the winner. This time Australia got about 10 crores.

Australia’s Alyssa Healy scored 170 runs in the match, which is the highest individual score by any cricketer, male or female, in a World Cup final. She was also the highest run-scorer in the tournament with 509 runs. The Player of the Tournament went to Alyssa Haley.
