In order to re-establish itself as a top-tier international airline with an Indian heart—one that offers the very best in class in terms of customer service, technology, product, dependability, and hospitality—Air India today presented its comprehensive transformation strategy.

The plan, which has goals for Air India for the next five years, is appropriately named “Vihaan.AI,” which in Sanskrit denotes the beginning of a new era.

As part of Vihaan.AI, Air India has established a thorough roadmap with distinct milestones that is focused on dramatically expanding both its network and fleet, creating a completely redesigned customer proposition, enhancing dependability and on-time performance

assuming a leadership role in technology, sustainability, and innovation while making aggressive investments in the best available talent.

In the next five years, Air India plans to considerably expand its international routes while attempting to improve its domestic market share to at least 30%. The strategy aims to place Air India on a road to consistent development, financial success, and market dominance.

After receiving a lot of input from Air India staff members about their goals and expectations for the airline’s expansion, Vihaan.AI was created.

The five important pillars that Vihaan.AI works on are great customer experience, commercial efficiency, solid operations, industry-best talent, industry leadership, and profitability.

While the airline’s immediate priorities are still to address the fundamentals and be ready for expansion (the “Taxiing Phase”), its medium- to long-term priorities will be to build for excellence and establish scale to become a leader in the industry globally (Take Off & Climb phases).
