An autobiography titled “The Hero of Tiger Hill” by Subedar Major Yadav became the youngest person ever to receive the Param Vir Chakra (PVC) for his actions in the Kargil conflict (1999) at the age of 19.
This autobiography is published by Srishti Publishers & Distributors. 

What does the book say?

Subedar Major Yadav got the idea to write his autobiography when he was invited to a top university just to address their students. He found that his frank and simple language attracted those students and that his speeches had a great impact on them.
 His main idea in writing this autobiography is to inspire the youth of  India and fill their hearts with patriotism, love, and respect for their country. 
The book focuses primarily on the major’s experiences when 19-year-old Yadav was given the important task of capturing Tiger Hill with the Gatuck Platoon of the 18th Grenadier Regiment.
