According to Union Minister Jitendra Singh, India is dedicated to achieving 500 GW of newly installed non-fossil fuel electrical capacity by 2030 and lowering predicted emissions by over 1 billion tonnes between now and 2030.

 

According to a statement from the Ministry of Science and Technology, India is looking to meet its massive energy demand with innovative clean energy solutions.

Singh made the remarks while speaking there at the Joint Ministerial Plenary of Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM13) and Mission Innovation (MI-7) at the “Global Clean Energy Action Forum 2022” in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Jitendra Singh, who’s leading a large Joint Ministerial deputation, of knowledgeable environmental and energy ministers from 30 countries that India’s energy-mix techniques include a larger shift toward green power alternatives, increased manufacturing capacity, energy use effectiveness, and a policy push for hydrogen that includes production-linked incentives.

Furthermore, he mentioned that upcoming technologies such as the 2G Ethanol Pilot, comfortable climate boxes for tropical locations, hydrogen valleys, and cooling and heating virtual repositories are all on the table.

 

According to him, India has devised a plan and plan for an organic economy that would be worth $150 billion by 2025.

 

According to the minister, this will assist infrastructure for low-carbon bio-based product manufacturing. India recently announced their National Hydrogen Energy Mission which allows cost-effective green hydrogen generation.

The minister recognized that Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) arrangement has provided India with a one-of-a-kind chance to demonstrate its commitment to clean energy development both nationally and globally.

The minister continued by declaring how India will host the MI and CEM in 2023, as well as the G-20 presidency in that same year.
