Meesho’s internet delivery has gone bad after Amazon and Flipkart. A guy from Bihar claims to have purchased a drone from the Meesho internet shopping platform. Instead, he was given kilograms of potatoes.
Only this time, the entire episode is being recorded by the consumer. Chetan Kumar, a businessman from Nalanda’s Parwalpur, was skeptical of the package and ordered the delivery person to open it before accepting the order.
He captured the scene on his phone, which shows potatoes heaped inside the crate used to transport the drone.
Online delivery is going wrong
This is not the first time that an online commerce delivery has gone awry. Earlier this week, two Amazon and Flipkart consumers claimed to have gotten incorrect merchandise.
Yashaswi Sharma, a Flipkart user, he purchased a laptop during the present Big Billion Days promotion. Flipkart brought bundles of Ghadi detergent bars, much to his dismay and surprise.
According to Sharma, the package was accepted by his father, who was ignorant of the “open-box” delivery idea and just accepted the order without scrutinizing it.
While he has CCTV evidence to back up his claim of a Flipkart delivery lad coming and exiting without inspecting the package, the e-customer tailer’s care representative claims that no refund is available because the delivery was accepted.
Another incident while Great Indian Festival
The Apple Watch that Arpit Mehrotra purchased from Amazon, he claims, was replaced with a Noise wristwatch.
“We have placed an order for an Apple Watch at the Great Indian Festival. Our purchase was out for delivery on September 23 and first had a delay, then it was delivered today.
However, to our astonishment, it turned out to be a #Noisewatch instead of an Apple Watch, he says in a LinkedIn post.
How to avoid these tragedies?
Online shoppers are urged to choose open-box delivery to guarantee that they only receive the items they requested in order to prevent similar tragedies.
