Applications for admission to IGNOU The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) starts admissions into B. Ed, Ph.D., and B.Sc. Nursing from 2024 session. Interested prospective students for these three courses are encouraged to apply by the cut-off date of 31st December 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
- The requirement for B.Ed enrollees is a bachelor’s in the natural science, social sciences, and commerce with at least 50% aggregate.
- Other graduates who specialized in Science and Mathematics having 55 percent marks in Engineering or Technology can also apply.
- The course should also enroll other candidates who are already trained and currently serving at the elementary education level or those who hold a degree from any NCTE-recognized institution of higher learning.
- For the Ph.D. program, applicants must hold a postgraduate degree obtained with at least 55% marks in the concerned area. Qualifying marks for the SC, ST, OBC, differently abled, and economically weaker sections have been fixed at 50 percent.
Application Process
The application process can be initiated by any prospective student by logging on to the homepage ignou.ac.in of the university and selecting the respective tab for application. The applicant will also be required to pay a non-refundable application fee of RS 1000 while applying.
All applicants should be sure to meet the deadline for submission by December 31, 2023. This is a very important chance given to those who want to further their studies in Education, Research, and Nursing under IGNOU noble courses.”
