KL Rahul biography

KL Rahul was born on 18 April 1992 in Cannanore city to Bangalore native K.N. It happened in the house of Lokesh and Rajeshwari. But the nurturing environment started with his father Lokesh, a now-retired former director of the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) in Mangalore) and his mother Rajeshwari, a professor at Mangalore University.

The cricketing star is currently shining bright in the 2019 World Cup, where Rahul has already seen glimpses of unsupported hits on the Australian bowling en route to a strong 97 and a century. But this talent is not limited to the cricket field. He likes luxury–he enjoys it a lot. A house worth Rs 4 crore, a wristwatch worth Rs 37 lakh, and more than 60 pairs of sneakers of every kind – KL Rahul is one of the top 20 cricketers in India by personal wealth.

KL Rahul had created a stir earlier this year by shifting to Mumbai after marrying Bollywood star Athiya Shetty. A short distance away, on the 9th floor of a high-rise apartment building with four bedrooms and five bathroom rooms, the couple pays a monthly rent of Rs two lakh per month for their sea-facing place.

KL Rahul’s net worth

His net worth is estimated to be around one billion rupees (NZ million) as of early 2033, with the bulk coming from IPL and BCCI salaries and brand endorsements.

Salman Khan gave a gift of Rs 1.64 Crore

KL Rahul’s simple wedding in January at a farmhouse in the popular tourist spot Khandala was attended by cricketers with whom he is close. In contrast, headed paper invitations were extravagant gifts. Reportedly, Virat Kohli gave him a BMW worth Rs 2.17 crore, Salman Khan gave him an Audi worth Rs 1.64 crore; MS Dhoni contributed a bike worth Rs 80 lakh and actor Jackie Shroff donated a watch worth Rs 30 lakh towards the funds raised by Economic Times.

One season salary Rs 3 crore; BCCI Grade B player.

KL Rahul, who is rated as a Grade B player by the BCCI, still earns a whopping Rs 3 crore per season. After playing for the Punjab team from 2018 to the last IPL, he signed a contract worth Rs 17 crore with Lucknow.
