University Grants Commission, UGC inaugurates SheRNI for women scientists and faculty members 2024. The primary goal of this initiative is to establish a National Center of Competence for Women Scientists and Faculty Members.
She Research Network in India has been developed by the Center for Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) of the (UGC). The project seeks to guarantee equal representation of women scientists in different research fields.
According to the UGC, the website seeks to connect 81,818 profiles of Indian women working in science and research.

In India, the She Research Network, or SheRNI, is similar to a large virtual society for women with a wide range of interests. The information was provided and UGC President Professor Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar said that the organization aims to ensure equal representation and exposure to the achievements of women scientists and teachers during the launch of the portal.
